The Cove
This panorama is taken from the centre of the North Circle. The two surviving megaliths of the Cove (which is slightly offset from the circle centre) can be seen surrounded by a temporary steel-wire fence.
Other stones of the 27-stone North Circle which are visible are Stone 201 (standing, to the north), Stone 206 (standing, to the left and partly concealed by the tree), Stone 207 (fallen) and Stone 210 (fallen, close to Green Street). All the other megaliths of the circle are destroyed or buried.
